More services coming soonSupporting schools through the emotional reality of the climate crisis
Young people, staff and families are all living with the psychological weight of climate change. Beacon offers a range of psychologically-informed support from supervision for climate leads to whole-school approaches.
Climate & Schools Educational PsychologyDeveloping climate responsive Educational Psychology Services
With growing focus on climate and sustainability, EP services will need to respond to the psychological dimensions of the climate crisis. This requires climate literacy and space for psychologists to explore their own responses.
Climate and Educational Psychology servicesApplied psychology for children, families and school teams
Joint problem-solving that recognises the skills and strengths of the people we work with as central to the process of change — not incidental to it.
Coming soonTalks that inform, challenge and stay with you
Dr Dan O’Hare is an experienced speaker on issues concerning children, families, schools and the climate crisis. His talks are psychologically informed and grounded in evidence — but designed to connect and motivate, not overwhelm.
Dan speaks to school teams, professional associations, and conference audiences across the UK and internationally. Every talk is developed collaboratively, shaped around the needs of your audience.
SpeakingPsychology can be a powerful force for positive change across many contexts, not only in schools.
People’s experiences are shaped by the environments, systems, and relationships around them, and psychological work needs to take this seriously. This means recognising that approaches which are helpful in one setting may need to look different in another.
Our work is informed by an ecological perspective. We pay attention not only to thoughts and behaviours, but to the wider conditions people live within – including their communities, environments, and the natural world. By recognising these connections, we aim to support work that is thoughtful, responsible, and responsive to the realities of people’s lives.
